Who writes our content
Articles and guides are written by the MedStands Team, our in-house content team. Our content explains how the partner and affiliate programs work and how businesses and individuals earn from telehealth referrals. It is business and marketing information, not medical advice, and it never tells anyone which treatment to take.
Medically reviewed by the MedStands Medical Board
When content references telehealth care or medication categories, it is reviewed by the MedStands Medical Board: the independent licensed providers in our network who review material for clinical accuracy. Their role is to confirm that any description of care, eligibility, or the clinical process is correct and not misleading. They do not provide medical advice through our content, and reading it does not create a provider relationship.
How we handle facts and sources
We keep earnings and outcomes qualitative and avoid promising results. Comparisons of other programs use each company's published affiliate terms, and figures that come only from third-party affiliate directories are labeled as reported rather than confirmed. When a competitor does not publish a rate, we compare at the model level instead of inventing a number.
Corrections and updates
Programs and clinical details change, so we update content as needed and note when comparison figures are current as of a stated date.
